Nintendo Switch Online has shared a new "Pokémon" game for users to enjoy via their subscription, and this is available to users who are subscribed to the Expansion Pack tier.

Nintendo Switch Online: New 'Pokémon' Game Is Now Here
Nintendo has announced that the new "Pokémon" game for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription has now arrived. Players who are subscribed to the service will now get to access the retro game called "Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness" with their subscription, accessible via the GameCube console app.
Now a classic game from the franchise, "Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness" was released in August 2005 on the Nintendo GameCube, and it centers on the introduction of "Shadow Pokémon" in the series.
Here, trainers are given Eevee as their starter and companion, and they are tasked with the mission to save the world from a sinister organization that threatens to dominate the world using Shadow Pokémon.
Players may catch and purify the Shadow Pokémon they find along the way, and the game features Generation III creatures. That said, the game also features the early iterations of Generation IV creatures like Bonsly and Munchlax.
What to Expect From This Retro 'Pokémon' Game?
"Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness" is now available on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack's GameCube console app, and this means it is exclusively available only to the Switch 2.
This means that original Switch owners will not get the chance to experience the title unless they upgrade to the current-gen console.
