Riot Games developers have recently revealed the League of Legends Patch 11.17 Preview, and Akshan and Irelia are getting nerfed again. Certain item adjustments are also expected in the upcoming update.

A few days ago, Jeevun “Jag” Sidhu, lead game designer on Summoner’s Rift Team for League of Legends, revealed their plans of making Amumu better in higher ranks.

Now, he has released a full preview of the changes coming to Patch 11.17. Read further to find out which Champions got buffed, nerfed, and changed.

Champion Buffs

Several Champions are buffed in Patch 11.17. Evelynn’s ultimate, Last Caress, will have its ability cooldown decreased to 120/100/80 seconds. Although the cooldown at max level remains the same, the shorter cooldown at lower levels will likely make her more effective in the early game.

Lissandra’s base attack damage has been increased slightly to 55 and her Ice Shard (Q) ability’s mana cost reduced to 55/60/65/70/75.

Nami’s Ebb and Flow (W) has its damage increased to 75/115/155/195/235 and its healing buffed to 65/90/115/140/165.

The beloved Teemo has its Toxic Shot (E) damage on hit increased to 14/25/36/47/58.

Champion Nerfs

Since his release, Akshan has received a couple of adjustments to his stats and abilities. This time around, the Rogue Sentinel will have his Heroic Swing (E) deal less damage per shot.

Irelia’s Bladesurge (Q) has its healing decreased to 8/10/12/14/16%. Even though this is a slight nerf, the effect can be felt in the early game.

Kayn’s passive ability, The Darkin Scythe, will have its Shadow Assassin damage reduced to 8-30%.

Leona’s Eclipse (W) bonus armor and magic resist have been decreased to 15/20/25/30/35.

Champion Changes

Developers are also going to implement a handful of Champion Changes in the upcoming update.

For instance, Lucian’s Lightslinger passive will make his next two (to four) basic attacks deal additional magic damage when he is buffed by his allies.

Rengar’s Bola Strike (E) will no longer have cast time when leaping and it will also reveal enemies for two seconds.

Item Adjustments

The Divine Sunderer has its attack damage decreased to 35. The Hullbreaker’s HP bonus is increased to 400.

League of Legends Patch 11.17 is expected to go live on August 25, 6 a.m. EST.
