A new anime game is coming to bring an iconic franchise to gaming platforms, but before its release, "Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact" is now allowing players to preview the game.

The game is slated to release next month for multiple platforms, but players may go ahead and preview the gameplay and experience how it feels before purchasing a copy.

'Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact' Available to Try for Free

The official "Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact" X account has shared an important announcement for fans of the franchise and those awaiting the game, particularly as there is a special experience now awaiting them. This comes as a special preview of the game, with the demo available for players to try out on two different platforms only, namely PC and PlayStation 5.

This demo version will preview the experience for players, including fighting mechanisms and features that the team worked on, revolving around different locations that were present in the manga and anime. The developers also announced that there would only be six characters that would be playable in this demo, but they did not reveal who would be featured.

It is possible that the game would include the characters Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Hisoka, and other leads as the playable ones in the demo. Apart from this, they will also add several modes to choose from apart from the main fighting arena experience, including the training mode.

It remains unclear if the game will also feature a multiplayer online fighting experience in the demo.

"Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact" will first release a demo for the Steam PC platform that went live on May 30, but that is not the same case for the PlayStation 5 version.

No exact dates for the PS5 have been revealed, as of press time. Sadly, the only platform that would not get a demo is the Nintendo Switch version despite Nintendo being known for also sharing game demos via its eShop.

'Hunter x Hunter' Game Releases This July

The game is getting published by Arc System Works, and according to ComicBook Gaming, they are best known for their different anime fighting titles released in the past. They have partnered with Bushiroad Games to develop this "Hunter x Hunter" game that features a 3v3 party fighting experience that features a single story and online mode with a rollback netcode.

The 2D fighting game is slated for release on Steam for PCs, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch, which may also mean that it could be backward compatible with the Switch 2, on July 16.
