Hearthstone is officially adding Dragons to Battlegrounds as a new minion type with Patch 16.4. That's not all, as both Reno Jackson and Galakrond now join the five original Dragon Aspects as new Heroes.
Overall, there are going to be 18 new minions added with 12 of them being the new Dragon minion type. All but two of these new minions are not only going to be new to Hearthstone, but also exclusive to Battlegrounds. Let's take a look at the seven new heroes:
- Alexstrasza
- Queen of Dragons [Passive]: After you upgrade Bob's Tavern to Tavern Tier 5, Discover two Dragons.
- Deathwing
- ALL Will Burn! [Passive]: ALL minions have +3 Attack.
- Malygos
- Arcane Alteration [Cost 0]: Replace a minion with a random one of the same Tavern Tier.
- Nozdormu
- Clairvoyance [Passive]: Your first Refresh each turn costs (0).
- Ysera
- Dream Portal [Cost 1]: Refresh and add a Dragon to Bob's Tavern.
- Galakrond
- Galakrond's Greed [Cost 1]: Replace a minion in Bob's Tavern with a minion from a higher Tavern Tier.
- Reno Jackson
- Gonna Be Rich! [Cost 4]: Make a friendly minion Golden (Once per game).
Offers
Hearthstone is celebrating its sixth birthday and there's going to be a limited time anniversary event that starts on March 4. In addition, players that log in between March 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET to March 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET receive two Rise of Shadows packs, two Saviors of Uldum packs, two Descent of Dragons packs, and the Year of the Dragon card back.

Main Changes
This being a new patch, these are some of the changes introduced in the game:
- Sneed's Old Shredder
- Moved from Tier 6 to Tier 5.
- Mama Bear
- Old: 4/4 Beast, Whenever you summon a Beast, give it +4/+4
- New: 5/5 Beast, Whenever you summon a Beast, give it +5/+5.
The Tavern Tier 6 had its cost lowered to 10 Gold from 11. According to the Development Team, Tavern Tier 6 offers a lot of exciting minions and it was important for players to have more of an opportunity to reach it than they have.
