If you’re one of those who managed to finish The Cayo Perico Heist and don’t know what to do next, worry not. GTA Online made sure that players like you have something to do as the new year starts.
You see, Cayo Perico has been a treasure trove. After all, the island is a smuggler’s paradise. Thus, it's no surprise of talks of Treasure Chests being spotted not only on land but even underwater.
Indeed, the talks are true. Players can find these stashes when doing Scoping Missions during the heist. Simply put, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on these Hidden Caches. There’s one on land and another underwater.
Getting these containers will give rewards. However, those who manage to find five Hidden Caches by January 6 get an additional gift: GTA$100,000. How’s that for extra motivation?
Extra Bonuses
Playing GTA Online any time this week rewards players with the Bigness Tie-dye Sweater and Bigness Tie-dye Sports Pants. This should be a good way to greet the new year. Not enough? Well, players also get the Sessanta Nove Monogram livery for the Übermacht Revolter, Vapid Speedo Custom, and HVY Menacer.
The In & Out Adversary Mode is still handing out double GTA$ and RP this week. The Cayo Perico Heist Bonuses remain available as well. Players can get the bonuses by finishing any part of the Cayo Perico Heist Prep Mission, Scoping Mission, or the finale.
