It looks like many things are planned for GTA Online and will start this month with the summer update. On May 27 there are eight new Stunt Races to be introduced in the Stunt Series. This one is sure to bring new excitement to stunt racers in a wide range of vehicle classes.

Survival Mode is set to expand and offer new locations across Los Santos as well as Blaine Country. If you’re one of those who like a more “futuristic” take on things, the Deadline Mode is getting seven new arenas.

There’s also good news for those who have next-gen consoles. The expanded and enhanced versions of both GTA V and GTA Online are arriving in Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4 on November 11.

So what else is there? The summer update is also set to offer special benefits that players can take advantage of when the versions for the next-gen console drops. A special celebration on the 20th anniversary of GTA III is scheduled as well. Rockstar Games said that players should prepare for a lot of surprises.

Rockstar added further that the new standalone version of GTA Online PS5 will be free exclusively for the first three months after its release. The November release also means that there’s still some time left to get those additional GTA$. For those who may have forgotten, PS Plus members on PS4 can get GTA$1 million by just visiting the PlayStation Store at the beginning of each month. This promotion ends when the PS5 version is released.

So what do you think about this news? Which one are you most excited about?

GTA Online is the online component of GTA V. It’s set in the fictional state known as San Andreas and lets a maximum of 30 players explore the open-world environment along with being able to take part in different cooperative and competitive games. The game was released back in 2013 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. A version for PC was later launched in 2015.
