After Game of Thrones Season 6 only two truncated seasons remain. But how can the show possibly cram so many dragon vs. White Walker battles in only 15 more episodes? The Season 6 finale offers one possible solution: make them all longer than your standard Game of Thrones episode hour.

That’s right, according to Entertainment Weekly Game of Thrones Season 6 episode 10 will be the longest ever, clocking in at 69 minutes.

In addition to the extended runtime, we now know the titles for the last two episodes of Game of Thrones Season 6: “Battle of the Bastards” and “The Winds of Winter.” Both titles match earlier leaks.

So what’s in store that requires so much screentime?

“Battle of the Bastards,” is expected to have the largest battle sequence in the show’s history, between the armies of Ramsay Bolton and the Sansa Stark/Jon Snow alliance. That episode, directed by “Hardhome” alum Miguel Sapochnik, will run 60 minutes.

But the contents of “The Winds of Winter,” the Season 6 finale, are still mysterious. Here’s one guess: maybe they’ll actually declare it freakin’ winter finally. We’ve been hearing “Winter is Coming” for six seasons of Game of Thrones, but winter still hasn’t come. The official arrival of winter, heralded in George R.R. Martin’s by the arrival of a white raven from the maesters’ Citadel in Oldtown, would be a perfect end to this antepenultimate season of Game of Thrones.
