Fallout 76: Expeditions Sends Everyone to "The Pitt" This September

This September, a new adventure awaits everyone in Fallout 76. Expeditions: The Pitt arrives through a free update, and players can look forward to exciting and dangerous encounters.

The Pitt is a city built on the remains of post-nuclear Pittsburgh. That said, don’t expect a friendly welcome since the local Union faction is caught between the Raiders, Trogs, and other hostile forces.

While not much has been revealed about this new adventure, it appears that Expeditions offer repeatable missions that players can take on. This should allow them to get rewards like XP, loot, and possible legendary items. Given the difficulty, it’s recommended that players need to be at least Level 50 to have the best experience.

As mentioned, Expedition: The Pitt arrives in the game courtesy of a free update. This update brings tweaks and improvements, including adjusted gear for new Dwellers who are just going out of their Vaults.

Special Celebration

Today marks a special milestone: the seventh anniversary of the Fallout Shelter. This free-to-play simulation game was first released on iOS on June 14, 2015. Then, it was launched on Android, PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The gameplay was simple, as all players needed to do was take on the role of an Overseer and then build and manage their own Vault.

The game has received mainly positive reviews, with many enjoying the core gameplay and its extension of the Fallout universe. Criticisms include the microtransactions and lack of an ending.

In celebration, players can log in to the game on mobile from June 13 to June 19. Free rewards include Pet Carriers, Lunch Boxes, and Nuka Cola.

Going back to Fallout Shelter, here are some interesting stats over the seven-year period:

  • Quests Completed: 3,107,862,334
