At Eve's Wake Definitive Edition Now on Steam

At Eve's Wake: Definitive Edition is now available on PC through Steam, priced at $9.99. The game is an interactive horror story written in Lovecraftian style and offers a haunting tale where players get to discover the family they never knew and the truth of their sinister practices. As part of the launch, it is being offered at 25% discount until June 22.

At Eve's Wake was first released in 2021 putting players in the role of an estranged relative. The story begins when they receive a letter asking for their presence at the funeral of their long-lost grandmother. Attending the same funeral is the long-lost extended family and a cast of shadowy characters carrying secrets that's yet to be uncovered, along with their servitude to a dark patron. Whether this family goes to redemption or to an even darker path is up to the players.

We're all familiar with the saying that "choices have consequences" and this is most certainly true in the game. Gameplay choices are important since actions aren't forgotten, and any knowledge gained can't be unlearned. Ultimately, it can change the direction of the game.

Personality

One of the game's features is being able to choose personality traits. These influence how players respond to situations and how people perceive them. Each personality offers a unique playstyle and even provides different dialog options and insights during the playthrough. The choice also sets the difficulty of the story and how players can overcome certain obstacles.
