Dragon Ball FighterZ is already chock-full of your favorite characters from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super , but there's more to come, and the latest issue of Japanese publication V-Jump has the scoop. You may be surprised to see who will join the game.

According to V-Jump , the legendary Super Saiyan Broly and Bardock, Goku's father, will be added to the game in an upcoming DLC release. Broly's bulk and massive power will likely make him a boon for players who prefer slower, more powerful fighters, while Bardock looks like he'll rely more on speed and a skillset closer to Goku's. These will be the first official fighters added to the game in the form of DLC, with hopefully lots more characters to come.

Broly is an extremely powerful Saiyan whose hatred for Goku goes back to infancy, when Goku cried and cried incessantly in the crib next to him. Petty, but you've gotta give the guy props. Crying babies (and babies in general) are obnoxious. As far as Bardock goes, he's the father of both Goku and Saiyan warrior Raditz.

Broly's Super Special Attack is "Gigantic Meteor," which will drain three bars of energy for an enormous attack. Bardock's Super Special Attack is "Revenger Assault," where he can actually transform into a Super Saiyan in an unexpected turn of events. But we'd expect nothing less from Goku's father, even if he wasn't such a great guy in the animated OVA prequel special.

Dragon Ball FighterZ has been a knock-down, drag-out success since it debuted a few weeks ago, making a splash especially on PC. After it came out, it shot up to the top of SteamCharts, earning the honor of the most-played fighting game on Steam of all time. With stiff competition from games like Street Fighter , that makes its accomplishment even more unbelievable. If you're on the fence about trying it out, have a look at our review and make your decision from there. Protip: It's probably going to sway you to go ahead and take the plunge.
