Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is officially welcoming the permanent return of Noctis Lucis Caelum. For those who missed this Final Fantasy XV hero, players can now add him through the "Royal Hope" quests. In addition to this returning character, completing quests also allow players the chance to earn special rewards like gems and Draw Tickets.

To mark the return of Noctis, players can get these upgrades and rewards:

  • Revamped Abilities
    • Not only is Noctis back, he is more powerful than ever. He has a higher level cap and his abilities have been reworked.
  • Event Rewards
    • As mentioned, players who missed him can now add Noctis to their collection by playing through the "Royal Hope" quests. Not only that, they also get two copies of the hero's 5-star armor Prince’s Fatigues along with one copy of the 5-star Engine Blade weapon.
  • New Costume Pack
    • For a limited time, players who buy the “Special Wardrobe Chest” gem bundle get to receive the optional costume for Noctis.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia follows the Dissidia Final Fantasy adventure. Available from the App Store and Google Play, the game has players form parties with their favorite Final Fantasy heroes and villains while equipping them with different weapons from the series. The game offers an extensive story mixed with the strategic turn-based combat that fans have grown to love from the franchise. However, the turn-based combat now comes with a twist. There is what is called the Bravery system where you need to balance offense with defense. You need to build your Bravery and wait for just the right moment to bring down your opponents.

So what is the story all about? The game reveals that darkness is slowly converging and the world as we know it is crumbling before our very eyes. As a result, what was considered a sanctuary before is now a battlefield.

The game recently released an update which unlocked a Level 70 cap and Crystal Strength for certain characters. In addition, a new level 70 was added to cycle quests. Another change is that the items capacities for power stones, armor tokens and power tokens have been increased to 9999 from 999.
