In the recent Destiny 2 weekly post, Bungie revealed that the Iron Banner will return for one last time before Season of the Risen ends. Developers advise you to spend your Iron Banner Tokens and turn your bounties in because you only have two weeks tops to do them.

Another thing you need to remember is that Bungie will remove the abilities bounty in the final Iron Banners before the next season. For those who don’t know, these bounties require you to kill enemies using specific abilities, and with the changes in ability cooldowns implemented late last year, it is very time-consuming to complete them. With their removal, Bungie is shifting towards objective and weapon bounties instead.

New Fundraiser

One of the best things about Bungie is fundraising which powers humanitarian organizations. Kilts for Kids is its annual fundraiser that supports the Seattle Ronald McDonald House or RMHC and it is in its 11th year and counting.

The RMHC continues to provide exceptional care, safety, and community to those who are facing serious illnesses. Bungie is encouraging everyone to donate and help achieve the target of $77,777. You can do this by casting your vote on the RMHC donation page for Team Bungie. Every vote is worth $10 and every $30 donated will pay for a family to stay at the institution for a night.

While you can donate as low as $10, Bungie sweetens the deal by giving you some amazing donation incentives. Here is a rundown:

  • $50: Receive the Cerisian Lenses emblem:
    • Unique codes will be sent to all $50+ donors via email on or before May 6, 2022
  • $100: The prize above, plus a postcard digitally signed by our Kilts for Kids team and mailed to you
  • $250: All prizes above, plus a digital copy of a new and unique piece of artwork made by Mark Flieg himself
  • $500: All prizes above, plus a physical print of Mark’s exclusive art shipped to you
  • $1,000: All the prizes above, plus a studio tour of Bungie’s brand-new headquarters

If you are going to donate $1,000, you and two other guests will have a chance to tour Bungie’s new HQ. The brand new HQ will be ready sometime in October, so you’ll be scheduled to go there toward the end of the year or early 2023. Travel and hotel accommodations will be shouldered by you and your guests, so keep that in mind.

It is also worth noting that rewards will not be redeemed automatically. Once you’ve donated, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to redeem the prizes at the end of the event, no later than Friday, May 6.

Destiny 2 is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
