In the recent “This Week at Bungie” for Destiny 2, Bungie reveals that they’re implementing a new rotator system in the next season. Also, the master difficulty for the Vow of the Disciple raid is coming next week.

New System

Bungie is set to make old raids and dungeons in Destiny 2 relevant again starting in Season 17. That is because they will implement a new rotator system, which breaks down the content into seasonal and weekly categories.

For the seasonal rotation, the idea is the newly released raid and dungeon in each season will grant Pinnacle rewards for all encounters.

How about the weekly rotation? Well, Bungie will feature all raids and dungeons that are not part of the seasonal rotation. Completing the final encounter in any of the featured content will give you a Pinnacle drop from a weekly challenge. This gives you a reason to go back and complete some old content like Garden of Salvation and the Last Wish raids.

In addition, the lockouts on encounter rewards will be removed. This means all Legendary drops from raids and dungeons can be farmed to your heart’s content.

A Harder Challenge

While the new rotator system makes the game’s old content appealing again, it will not be implemented until the next season. But don’t be sad because there’s something that you can look forward to next week.

The master difficulty for the Vow of the Disciple raid is coming. If you are interested in taking on this challenging endeavor, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, the Power Level is set at 1,580, with a seasonal cap of +30. Furthermore, you and your fireteam should make the necessary preparations because this difficulty level is pretty intense and unforgiving.

Completing Vow of the Disciple at master difficulty will reward you with an Adept version of a weapon that can be acquired from the raid. So, if you’ve been dying to get yourself an Adept Submission SMG, you’re going to get your chance starting Tuesday next week.

A Word on Xbox PC Game Pass

If you’ve subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass for PC for quite some time now, you already know that Destiny 2, along with its previous expansions (Forsaken, Shadowkeep, and Beyond Light) have exited the platform since April 11.

If you’d like to go back to any previously released content, you will need to purchase each individual expansion to gain access. This is a huge bummer for you have to spend quite a bit of money if you want to get them all back.

So, what can you say about the upcoming dungeon and raid rotator system in Season 17?
