Season Pass 1 for Dead or Alive 6 has been released and is priced at $93. The game itself officially released on March 1.
The price, while high, does not come as a surprise to many fans. A number of fighting games are known for their DLC and microtransactions, especially with the ability to buy new characters or outfits for your favorites. It's estimated that players who purchased all Dead or Alive 5 DLC packs may have spent at least $1,000.
For the Season Pass 1, players will get two versions of the Happy Wedding Costumes. These allows players to see their favorite fighters in wedding-themed outfits. Two new volumes of Costume Pack are included as well. Characters must be purchased before their costumes can be used.
The Season Pass 1 also serves as the introduction of Mai Shiranui to the Dead or Alive world. Mai should be familar to fans of SNK's The King of Fighters XIV. As you would expect, Mai's Debut Costumes will be included. An additional character and corresponding debut costumers will also be included but there is no word yet on who this character is.
Bonus content for the Season Pass 1 is the Technomancer Gear for NiCO and the wrestling costume for Nyotengu.
Koei Tecmo disclosed that additional DLC that is not included in the Season Pass 1 could be released at the same period, but will not be part of the Season Pass 1. In addition, Season Pass 1 content might be sold separately.
A full description of the Season Pass 1 is available at the PlayStation Store. Players can expect to see the Season Pass 1 content release over the next four months.
