Team Ninja’s Dead or Alive 6 will be officially released Friday, March 1. Just in time for its release, the Dead or Alive 6 PC System Requirements have been revealed, allowing players to know if they will be able to play the latest entry in the long-running fighting franchise.
A look at the specifications show that the requirements are a bit high. This could be because the game will be using a new engine in order to offer better rendering techniques.
The recommended system requirements are:
OS: Windows 10 (64bit)
Processor: Intel Core i7 8700 or over
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 50 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 11 or over
If that’s too high, players can go for the minimum recommendation:
OS: Windows 10 (64bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5-4690 or over
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 50 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 11 or over
Dead or Alive 6 follows the events of the previous game and focuses on the fight between Ninja and DOATEC against M.I.S.T., which is led by Donovan. The story also includes the events that happened during the tournament. For returning characters, the game brings new side story episodes.
Many previous characters will be making a return like Kasumi, Hayate, and Tina Armstrong. Two new fighters are set to be introduced, one of which is NiCO. Hailing from Finland, NiCO is a silat martial artist and M.I.S.T scientist that uses lightning based attacked.
The second is New York City native Diego. This Mexican-American street fighter joins the tournament in order to raise money for his sick mother.
Most of the mechanics should be familiar to many players, but Dead or Alive 6 adds a new Break System that comes with a Special Move Gauge. This adds yet another strategic element to how players fight. Break Hold is a counter that can be used while the player is stunned. Break Blow is a strong special move that can deliver high damage and knock down opponents. What makes this move great is that players can use it to parry incoming attacks, thus functioning not only as an offensive move but even a defensive skill.
New Danger Zones also be offered. If the player is pushed into the onlookers, they will push the player to the center of the stage.
The game, once launched, will be available on Steam.
