The fun and exciting Asymmetric Battles have returned to World of Warships in Update 12.5, now available on all platforms.

Get Ready for Battle

Asymmetric Battles are a game mode in World of Warships where a group of six players dukes it out against 12 bots. To give players a fighting chance against overwhelming odds, the bots will only be using Tier VII and Tier VIII ships.

Unlike its previous iteration, players no longer have to get Battle Tokens to join in. They just need some Tier IX and Tier X ships docked in their ports.

To make things more enjoyable this time, the developers improved the bot AI. Bots now take up more advantageous positions on the map and will now disperse themselves more optimally around key areas.

Asymmetric Battles in Update 12.5 will use the Standard Battle and Domination Battle format.

Celebrate U.S. Independence

The U.S. Independence Day is just a couple of weeks away, and to celebrate, the developers are cooking up an event for next week.

Completing combat missions will earn players Independence Tokens that can be exchanged for various rewards, including Tier VI Virginia '41 (complete with the West Virginia permanent camouflage), Tier VII West Virginia '44, Tier IX Minnesota, and Tier IX Halford.
