Assassin’s Creed Valhalla received a major update just a few hours ago. Title Update 1.1.0 is live on all platforms and is around two to six GB in size, depending on where you play. The very first time-limited event, The Yule Festival, is added to the game along with a settlement expansion.

The update adds tons of improvements as well. It improved the PC's game performance and addressed some freezing issues. Next, it now accurately shows weapon stats of six specific items. Then, Longhouse now correctly shows legendary animal trophies. Also, Grand Maegester's hideout includes loot-able chests.

And finally, the update has improved the AI of the game. More details about it are mentioned in the highlights below:

  • The Yule Festival is a time-limited event with several festivities to enjoy and rewards to obtain. To bring this and future festivals to life, you'll see the arrival of the revellers just east of the current settlement.
  • We’ll provide more details about the Settlement expansion and the Yule Festival in our upcoming Yule Season Preview article. Stay tuned.
  • Tweaked the NPC power level behavior.

    • NPCs that are 51 power below the player will be highlighted in green.

    • This change applies to all difficulties.
  • Added loot-able chests to the Grand Maegester's hideout.
    • Note: This hideout is only available from a very specific moment in the game. Spoilers. :)
