Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is surprisingly a good game. It received a positive reception from both fans and critics. But, like every other Ubisoft game, this one also has its fair share of issues. Valhalla suffers from performance issues on both PC and consoles, and not to mention, tons of bugs you may encounter every 10 minutes.

The Title Update 1.04 released today tries to fix some of them. The update is now live on all platforms. You need to download 5.3 GB of data to play the new version.

Ubisoft now allows console players to choose between better performance or better visuals. In Performance mode, the game runs at 60 FPS with lower graphics. In Visual mode, the game has great graphics but locked at 30 FPS. It all comes down to personal choice. For me, it’s always FPS over resolution.

That’s not all. The update also improves the base performance of the game across platforms. VRAM/RAM leakage bug on PC and screen tearing for Series X|S now fixed.

Not all the changes are technical. Certain gameplay tweaks are also added. The fabric limit is now increased to 82. VFX is optimized and a new background is available. When your settlement is level six, you can buy fabrics from traders.

You can read the complete patch notes on the official site.
