Respawn Entertainment has a lot of games under development. The AAA game development studio is currently planning to develop a brand-new IP. The information was revealed by a job post present on the official Respawn website.

According to the job listing, the company is looking for a Generalist Software Engineer who will be part of a "small" team. The said team will work on a new game that will enable "adventuring forever." This hints at another live service game. While many gamers don’t exactly like a live service game, Respawn’s previous title, Apex Legends, receives free updates. These add more and more content every season. Apex Legends was recently released on Steam as well.

Almost all Respawn games have received critical reception, with a few exceptions, of course. Titanfall games received a positive reception from fans and critics. But failed to become a massive financial success like EA’s Battlefield or Activision’s Call of Duty.

As mentioned above, they released a free-to-play battle royale game, Apex Legends, which quickly became quite popular. Yet not as popular as PUBG or Fortnite. Respawn also released Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is arguably the best Star Wars game in a decade. Though their most recent title, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, which is also a VR title, failed to be as impressive as Respawn’s previous games.

Respawn Entertainment is going to be quite busy for the next few years. The company's Vancouver branch will work on Apex Legends, whereas the main studio will likely work on the next Star Wars Jedi game. There were some rumors about Titanfall 3. But Respawn Boss Vince Zampella previously claimed that TF3 is not in development.

So, what do you think? Are you interested in a new IP by Respawn? Or do you want them to work on Titanfall 3? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
