A new update is now live in Against the Storm which introduces a lot of new content. Patch 1.2 launches a new Trends panel along with the introduction of Blight Post upgrades.

That said, let's start with the new Trends Panel. This feature is unlocked from the very start of the game, after players finish the first tutorial. It's been designed to give all players a better overview of how their settlement is doing. This should be good news especially for new players as it can help in cases where goods seem to disappear for no apparent reason. For veterans meanwhile, it lets then experience better production optimization.

The Trends Panel can be accessed through a new button that's in the top right corner of the HUD. it has four segments which are Goods, History, Recent, and Operations. Players can select or search for any resource in the Goods section and once they click on it, they should see two graphs. The first is History which shows the last 30 minutes and the second is Recent which shows the last 5 minutes. The Recent graph in particular is interactive with players being able to select a certain segment and after which they can see a log of all events which have affected the selected resource at that moment in time.

Blight Post

Meanwhile, the Blight Post now has a new model in-game. In addition, this building now has an extra two tiers of upgrades added to it. This allows for something a little more exciting to play with. Some of the upgrades introduced in the Blight Post should be familiar to most players like faster Purging Fire production or the increased Blight Fighter movement speed. However, they can also look forward to some very special like the Blight Automaton, which is a Rainpunk construct that can move around the settlement and helps burn Blightrot Cysts during the storm.

Against the Storm is priced at $29.99 and available for the PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and PC Game Pass. The game is currently available at a 35% discount until March 21. Players can also get the Supporter Pack which comes with a lot of extra goodies.
