If you're a fan of the Worms video game franchise, you'll be happy to know that it's now available on mobile platforms. Worms WMD: Mobilize can be downloaded from the Play Store and App Store for $5.99.
Worms W.M.D. was first released in 2016 for PC and consoles with the gameplay closer to Worms Armageddon compared to other installments. The game brought back classic weapons and items from the series like the ninja rope. It also has new features like vehicles, leading to tanks, mobile armored walkers, and helicopters, and a building that the worms could enter for protection.
Worms is Now on Mobile
Worms WMD: Mobilize runs for up to 60 FPS and features 50 weapons for everyone to choose from, on top of vehicles mentioned. It offers single-player mode consisting of 10 training missions and 20 campaign missions, with each having three extra objectives for repeat play. Players can also enjoy local multiplayer, which allows for up to four teams with four worms each, and online multiplayer which features two teams of four worms.
Customization options are available as well, covering the following:
- Over 100 hats
- More than 40 different sound banks
- 15 victory dances
- Over 30 varieties of gravestones
By the way, the game is also playable with on-screen virtual controls or through a Bluetooth-enabled controller. Plus, the enhanced mobile functionality enables players to invite others through popular messaging systems like Facebook and WhatsApp.
