The first update this month in Wild Hearts goes live on April 6, highlighting the new Kemono species known as Murakumo. It has a wide range of petal-manipulating attacks which are sure to be a real menace to players. The way this new Kemono moves through the air on platforms, via sakura blossoms, makes counterattacking tricky. When it becomes enraged, this beast releases a thunderous tornado that can easily leave those who are hit unconscious. When fighting against this beast, it's best to use the Karakuri called Spinning Top.

For the Spinning Top, the way it works is that when unleashed, it closes in on the prey and delivers a stubborn assault. Every time it hits a Kemono or other obstacles, it gains both speed and power. Once it has enough speed and power, the Spinning Top can stagger Kemono upon hit.

Core Orbs

This upcoming update also introduces Core Orbs which players can use to enhance their weapons and armor further. The number of times the enhancements can be carried out and the effects they bring are different for each piece of equipment. To obtain code orbs, players need to successfully hunt the Volatile Kemono. The type of core orb dropped depends on where the player is hunting.

Second Update

The second update for the month arrives April 20. Players can look forward to a new Deeply Volatile Kemono which is the Deathhaze Gloombeak. There’s also a new type of special quest known as Serial Hunts.

Fight Against the Kemono

In Wild Hearts, players take a journey across Azuma as either a lone wolf or pack-hunt with up to two friends, courtesy of co-op and crossplay features across all platforms. Players can expand their battle plans and go on special missions while pack hunting. They can also join other hunters around the world or take on the Kemono solo.

To have a fighting chance against the Kemono, players need to master the Karakuri systems, like constructing a basic crate, spring and torch Karakuri, and learning Fusion Karakuri to counterattack the Kemono. There’s also the Dragon Karakuri which needs players to draw power from the land to construct it.

Wild Hearts was released in February 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through the RA App, Epic Game Store, and Steam.
