Capcom is set to release the free Title Update 2 on June 30 for "Monster Hunter Wilds," and fans are hoping the update can turn things around.

A quick look at the game's Steam page shows that it now has "Overwhelmingly Negative' reviews, raising concerns about the performance of the game.

What 'Monster Hunter Wilds' Players Are Unhappy With

According to a report by Eurogamer, fans have been increasingly unhappy about ongoing performance issues. In addition, gamers have also noticed that the game lacks meaningful updates.

These issues have caused the game's player count to dip in recent months. Gamers have been expressing their dissatisfaction through reviews, which has led to the game's "Overwhelmingly Positive" classification on Steam.

What Can Be Expected From Title Update 2

If Capcom plays its cards right, the upcoming Title Update 2 may improve the gaming experience for players.

While its official release is still days away, many fans are already excited about the return of two monsters from previous games. Specifically, "Monster Hunter 3's" Lagiacrus, fand "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's" Seregios are set to join the game thanks to Title Update 2.

Another monster, Uth Duna, is also set to make an appearance but only as part of a limited-time event quest.

In addition, new features are also expected to be added to the game through Title Update 2. This includes new layered weapons as well as the option to select which support hunters they want to take out.

New challenges and even a new challenge quest that features Mizutsune are also expected with the new update.
