It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found standing in Tower Hangar
After a relatively quiet week in the Destiny community, everyone’s favorite Agent of the Nine has returned to the Destiny servers with a fresh set of exotic gear. It’s a bittersweet moment for some, since this is one of the last times PS3 and 360 players will be able to purchase anything but engrams and curious from the traveling item vendor. Then again, how many people do you think are still playing a legacy version of Destiny, this far removed from the launch, who aren’t planning to switch to PS4 or Xbox One when Destiny: The Collection debuts later this month?
An impending need to upgrade isn’t the only reason some players won’t be thrilled about Xur’s latest appearance, either. Last week, the Agent of the Nine continued a multi-week trend of setting up shop with an entirely lackluster collection of goods to offer the Destiny community. It was far from the first time we’d seen Empyrean Bellicose or Graviton Forfeit in Xur’s inventory. Even Universal Remote is starting to feel like old news at this point.

Legacy Engram - Heavy Weapon
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with blue and red contrails available this week, along with the usual Motes of Light and Heavy Ammo Synthesis. Glass Needles can also be purchased from Xur this weekend.
