It’s Xur day, Destiny fans!
This week, Xur can be found in the Hall of Guardians, near the Crucible quartermaster.
Without a doubt, this has been one of the busiest Februarys the gaming industry has seen in several years. In just the last four weeks, we’ve seen the launches of XCOM 2, a pair of new Fire Emblem titles, Firewatch and Far Cry Primal, along with weekend betas for Tom Clancy’s The Division and Hitman. Even eSports have had reason to celebrate, thanks to Valve’s decision to have the Dota 2 Shanghai Major Group Stages close out the final week of the month. But Destiny players never lost sight of what’s most important on a week to week basis: Tracking down Xur and figuring out which exotic item(s) you need from the Agent of the Nine’s weekly equipment sale.
Last week, Xur showed up with a less-than-stellar batch of exotic goods for the Destiny community. The The Taikonaut offered Titans a chance to purchase an exotic helmet we don’t see every day. It might not be as exciting as never before seen exotics, which will hopefully begin to trickle back into the Agent of the Nine’s inventory again in a few months. But Titans can at least celebrate the chance to buy gear we don’t see on a semi-weekly basis. Hunters and Warlocks certainly couldn’t make the same claim about the Skyburners Annex and/or the Claws of Ahamkara.

Legacy Engram - Heavy Weapon
As always, Xur has plenty of other goodies for Destiny players to spend their Strange Coins, too. In addition to the exotic wares, the Agent of the Nine is also selling a handful of other curios, including Three of Coins stacks. And Destiny players will also find the usual legendary Sparrows upgrades, with green and blue contrails available this week, along with the usual Motes of Light and Heavy Ammo Synthesis. Glass Needles can also be purchased from Xur this weekend.
