Watch Dogs Legion receives one more title update. Update 2.40 went live today on all platforms, including current and next-gen consoles. The update is mostly focused on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. So, don’t expect any new content. That will come later, including the delayed multiplayer mode.

The most important change in the update is probably the ray-tracing support for AMD users. If you own an AMD card that supports ray-tracing, then get ready to see London in all its glory. You can now join Nvidia players who are enjoying the feature.

You may now retire your Prestige Operatives. You can do this on a character played for hours or to make room for new Operatives. Don’t worry, you will get them back if you start a completely fresh game later. Maybe, that old lady has done enough for London in your first playthrough, so why not let others shine.

TU 2.40 also fixes several crash issues on all platforms. The patch addressed the save file corruption issues on Xbox and optimized the memory on PS4.

WATCH DOGS LEGION TU 2.40 HIGHLIGHTS

  • We have added the ability to retire Prestige Operatives, which will function like their Permadeath behavior: They will be gone for the remainder of the playthrough. Starting a new game will add the Operatives in that playthrough.
  • Fixed the Unequip button in the store not unequipping equipped items.
  • Fixed an issue where skipping a cutscene could cause the cutscene to continue to play while the player regained control over their operative.
  • Fixed an issue causing the game to not properly save progress.
  • Enabled Ray Tracing for Ray Tracing capable AMD GPUs.
  • Additional memory optimizations to improve game stability.
  • Reordered the DLS options to correctly reflect which are available when playing on an NVIDIA GPU.

There are tons of other small changes from the update. You can read about them at the official site.
