It's still quite some time before Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is officially released. However, if you're excited about the game, we have good news for you. Developer Everguild just revealed the first Necron army to be featured and it's the Sautekh Dynasty. Exciting as that sounds, there's better news. Players get the chance to try out this fan favorite Xenos faction through a free playable demo available from January 19 to January 22 on Steam.
As a quick background, the Necron are an ancient race that have ruled the galaxy before humans existed. Implacable and relentless, their metal bodies have been resting and lying dormant for millennia in their Tomb Worlds simply waiting for the right time to awaken. Armed with arcane technology along with self-repairing bodies, they're now rising again to reclaim the galaxy.
Leading the way is the Sautekh Dynasty. Their battle mechanics are truly excellent which include the ability to reanimate fallen troops. With their undying legions, players are sure to have a new gameplay experience. Facing them in battles are the Ultramarines and Orks of the Goff Clan.
