Warframe: Yareli Receives Several Buffs Shortly After Release

Warframe Sisters of Parvos Digital Extremes

Warframe ’s Sister of Parvos update went live just a few days ago and it introduced the new Warframe, Yareli. Apparently, players feel that the new frame is just too weak, so the developers had to implement subsequent patches to buff it up.

Hotfix 30.5.1

This is the first patch that buffed Yareli, but it is nothing much because developers have only increased its armor to 100 (from 65). With just a single change, players feel that it didn't do anything significant to the frame.

Hotfix 30.5.2

What people love about developer Digital Extremes is that it always listens to fan feedback. That said, another patch was implemented a day after Yareli’s release.

This particular update changed a lot of things. For instance, Yareli’s Double Critical Chance amount was raised to 200%, which was 100% originally.

For the frame’s abilities. Yareli’s Sea Snares now deal Cold damage instead of Impact damage. In addition, each ability cast now conjures five sea snares rather than three. The maximum number of snares is still 15 though. Any enemy caught within the snares is dealt 120 damage per second, which was upped from 80.

Yareli’s Aquablades ability now effectively deals twice its base damage, increased to 500 from 250. The ability’s duration is now capped at 30 seconds.

For Riptide, the damage scaling per enemy caught within has been doubled to 50% (up from 25%). After the whirlpool dissipates, enemies will no longer be thrown far away. Players who are annoyed by this mechanic can now have a sigh of relief.

Bug Fixes

It seems that the original Sisters of Parvos update has also introduced numerous bugs into the game. Fortunately, developers are quick to fix things to make the game more enjoyable.

Hotfix 30.5.2 introduced a bunch of bug fixes, such as:

CHANGES
  • The Foundry will now give you the opportunity to buy Slots when claiming a Hound when you don't have 2 available (Hounds require 2 Slots, one for Hound and one for weapon).
  • Made placement adjustments to the Suda Armor on numerous Warframes.
INFESTED SALVAGE
  • Fixed Sevagoth's Shadow having his own independent pool of Antiserum Charges, allowing him to use 3 of his own and 3 of Sevagoth's. Now Sevagoth’s Shadow respects the maximum of 3 Antiserums total across Warframe, Operator, and Sevagoth’s Shadow.
  • Fixed HUD not properly showing the number of Antiserum Charges you have accumulated between your Warframe, Operator, and Sevagoth’s Shadow.
GENERAL FIXES
  • Fixed a variety of crashes that would occur on shutdown.
  • Fixed Radar effects (Enemy Radar, Loot Radar, etc) not working while you are riding a K-Drive/Merulina.
  • Fixed Host player being able to pop Client Yareli Sea Snare bubbles and vice versa.
  • Fixed a script error when your Kuva Lich uses certain abilities.
  • Fixed a script error when Fishing with a Shock Spear.
  • Fixed a script error when casting Gauss’ Mach Rush ability.

So, what do you think about Yareli’s buffs? Did the developers implement the right changes or do you think some things could still be improved?
