Ever have problems getting matches on a dating app? Why not take time to practice first with a video game? Presenting Lovelink, a virtual dating simulation where players match with exciting characters while going through multiple storylines. If you’re familiar with the interactive story game genre, this game is a brand new take on it.

In Lovelink, players get to swipe, match, and chat with a wide range of characters through an interactive chat simulation. Players get to go on exciting dates and thrilling encounters, all from the comfort of their own homes. Players also get to define their storyline as they make personalized choices while building and nurturing relationships. There’s going to be at least 75 characters for players to match with. There are also going to be new ones added weekly, which means players should be able to find that special someone for them.

In a statement released to the press, developer Ludia's President and CEO Alex Thabet said that they are truly excited to release the company’s first interactive dating mobile game. He added that as “mobile trends continue to evolve,” they are happy to be able to “forge a new path in the interactive narrative genre.” Players are sure to want more, especially with relatable characters and compelling storylines.

Lovelink producer Gemma Stewart, meanwhile, said that the team has truly been “passionate about creating a visually and narratively diverse, inclusive and most importantly, FUN dating app experience like no other with Lovelink.” Stewart went on to say that she is happy to work with a dedicated and creative team and “confident there is someone for everyone on Lovelink.”

What are your thoughts on this game? You think this is a good alternative to Tinder?

Lovelink is available for download on the App Store and Google Play. Lovelink was developed by Ludia, which has also worked on games like Jurassic World: Alive, Jurassic World: The Game, and Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtles: Legends. Ludia in turn is part of Freemantle. If that name sounds familiar, Freemantle is responsible for hits like Family Feud, The Price is Right, Got Talent, and The X Factor, among many others.
