Batman: Arkham Knight might be our favorite of the three Arkham titles, solely based on the strength of its story, but those hoping to see the "true" ending to Batman: Arkham Knight will apparently need to complete 100 percent of the game's content before seeing the credits roll.

With that in mind, we've been rounding up information on as many of the Batman: Arkham Knight quest chains as we can get our hands on. Previously, we've shown you where to find all of the firefighters for Line Of Duty, helped you located bombs from the Campaign For Disarmament, listed the watchtower locations for the Occupy Gotham and tracked down militia checkpoints for Own The Roads.

Now, it's time to turn our attention to Azrael, the antagonist-turned-ally who hopes to one day succeed Batman as the savior of Gotham City. In Batman: Arkham Knight, you'll need to meet up with Azrael in five different locations, each marked by a flaming bat symbol. Upon arrival, you'll be tasked with leading Azrael through a series of combat trials which must be completed without being struck. While it can be frustrating at times, the Heir To The Cowl quest chain should help fine-tine your combat prowess and make other combat scenarios feel much less overwhelming.

Here are all five of the meeting spots you'll need to visit for Heir To The Cowl:

First Rooftop

Location: Miagani Island, on roof west of the Bank of Gotham

The first rooftop is a pretty straightforward encounter. The handful of thugs you'll face are weaponless, and there aren't any brutes or medics in the bunch, so just make you're paying attention to counter prompts and you should finish pretty quickly.

Second Rooftop

Location: Founders' Island, building south of Otisburg Fire Station (2713,1464)

This time, you'll face a squad of unarmed guards who are accompanied by a single Brute. There are also objects for your enemies to pick up and throw but nothing that should be too difficult. Use your dodge ability, by double-pressing X/A on your controller, to stay clear of the Brute while you defeat the normal goons and then put a quick beat down on the larger foe.

Third Rooftop

Location: Bleake Island, Chinatown (1902, 2348)

Things are going to get a bit tricky after the third meeting, thanks to the presence of a medic and a few more soldiers than we've seen in the previous two trials. Focus on the healer, so you aren't dealing with electrified opponents, and then work your way through the ten unarmed guards standing between you and a third victory.

Fourth Rooftop

Location: Lady Of Gotham Island

The fourth trial will test Azrael's ability to dodge/counter blade attacks, via six sword-wielding enemies who will only attack in pairs or flurries. If you're comfortable dodging blade attacks, this trial shouldn't give you much trouble. Otherwise, this will probably be the encounter that finally teaches you the proper way to dodge blade attacks in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Final Rooftop

Location: Bleake Island, on top of the Clock Tower

There's no combat this time. Once you reach the Clock Tower, head inside and use Oracle's computer to search for more info on Michael Lane. Eventually, you'll be prompted to locate a series of lithographs on security footage. You'll find them at the following time stamps:

  • 00:00:00
  • 00:05:55
  • 00:16:45
  • 00:28:92
  • 00:41:35
