As Gamescom 2019 draws closer, now with less than a month to go, more developers and publishers are starting to announce their playable titles for one of the biggest gaming events of the year.

Over the past few weeks we’ve seen lineups from Microsoft and Xbox, who will be showcasing Xbox Game Studios titles for the console and PC, as well as Nintendo who will be debuting the highly-anticipated The Witcher 3 port for the Switch console during the event. Smaller publishers and developers like Microids, THQ Nordic and Wired Productions have also announced their lineup of playable titles for Gamescom 2019. Just yesterday, we also got a look at the publishers who will be presenting during the Opening Night Live event on August 19, to be hosted by Geoff Keighley.

For this iteration, we’re taking a look at Square Enix, as the Japanese publisher has released their lineup of playable titles for Gamescom 2019. Check out the titles below.

  • Final Fantasy VII Remake – as is expected, Square Enix’s most highly anticipated project will be making its way to Europe for the very first time. Challenges, prizes and stage show programs all await attendees, headed by the makers themselves, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida, and Main Scenario Writer and World Lore Creator Banri Oda. August 23 will also include a cosplay competition, as well as the game’s largest fan gathering during the evening.
