Captain America: Civil War introduced fans to a young Peter Parker and Tom Holland is gearing up for his solo debut in Spider-Man: Homecoming . He’ll be a sophmore in highschool, but how fast will Peter age in the sequels to follow?

Pulling aside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic Con, Collider found he plans to take a Harry Potter approach to the new Spider-Man franchise.

“Should we be able to make more after that? Sure. This is sophomore year, is the next one junior year? Is the next one senior year? Is there a summer break between each of those? I don’t know what, but it was sort of how do we do a journey for Peter not dissimilar for what the students of Hogwarts would go through each of their years, which was one of the early ideas we had for the movies,” Feige said.

J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter followed Harry, Hermoine, and Ron during each school year at Hogwarts. If Spider-Man is to do the same, the new films will certainly stand apart from the old.

The first footage of Spider-Man: Homecoming was previewed at San Diego Comic Con, but an official version hasn’t made it online yet. Check out the synopsis below:

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios' Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Tony Revolori (Dope) will play Flash Thompson and Laura Harrier (One Life to Live) will play Liz Allan, both good freinds with Peter at one point or another in the comics. The film is set to arrive in theaters July 7, 2017.
