The Sims 4 released its latest update which offers new clothing through the Holiday Celebration Pack. There's also going to be a new Multi-Story Column feature that lets your Sim build tall columns. Additionally, a new Main Menu Message lets you easily learn about the latest content. New music is also arriving.

For the new feature, the phrase "multi-story columns" may not be accurate as they appear to be more of a multi-height column situation. To access this new feature, all you need to do is go to the build catalog, place a column, grab the handle at the top, and then drag it up and down in order to re-size. It's that simple.

New Clothing

The Holiday Celebration Pack has been updated to add children and toddler clothing. Children get a new male top, female top, and winter boots. Toddlers, meanwhile, have a new outfit for both male and female Sims as well.

If still don't have the Holiday Celebration Pack, go ahead and pick it up. It is free, after all. Simply click on the icon located at the Main Menu and then download the free pack.

Main Menu Messaging

In order to know what's going on, the Main Menu now shows the latest Sims content. With this, players should be able to learn not only about free content, but can also get the latest updates on upcoming releases.

New Music

The Hip Hop Radio Station is no long exclusive to Get Famous and is now available for everyone. However, Get Famous specific music still needs the Get Famous expansion to be played. New songs added with this update include:

  • “BMO”
    • Performed by Ari Lennox
  • “Big Moe”
    • Performed by Beau Young Prince
  • “Dumbstruck”
    • Performed by Ceraadi
  • “Good Life”
    • Performed by RDGLDGRN & Daniela
  • “Block List”
    • Performed by Rico Nasty
  • “Litest”
    • Written and Performed by DJDTP

The update also includes fixes for the main game, which includes:

  • Sims that dislike Fruitcake no longer react negatively to all other food. On the other hand, Sims that like Fruitcake no longer will react positively to Poor Quality foods.
  • Grab Meal or Give Food for all ages will now fulfill the hunger needs completely.
  • NPC Sims that are not Gardeners will no longer remove Wild Plants from lots autonomously.
  • Sims are now able to route into their home after using terrain manipulation tools in their home lot.
  • Sims are no longer collecting items in their inventories without your permission.

Improvements are also coming to Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, and Realm of Magic. You can view the complete patch notes here.
