Since Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, the Dark Knight has enjoyed more success on the big screen than any other superhero in DCEU. Despite harsh criticism from Batman V Superman, fans remain hopeful for the upcoming Justice League movie as well as Ben Affleck's anticipated Batman solo film. Earlier this week, reports confirmed Magic Mike XXL actor Joe Manganiello will play Deathstroke, the main villain that will face off against Batman. However, further details regarding the Batman flick remain limited.

A notorious shot from Batman V Superman featured Robin's vandalized costume (HAHAH Joke's on you BATMAN) behind a glass inside Batman's cave. The suit belonged to the second Robin, Jason Todd (who was killed by The Joker, in case the spray paint on the suit wasn't clear). What's more, the image was also the first to reveal Batman's iconic sidekick is a part of the current DCEU. With the knowledge that Jason Todd is no more, could we possibly meet the next Robin, Tim Drake?

Actor Ryan Potter, who played the voice of Hiro in Disney's Big Hero 6, is certainly behind the idea. Not only does Potter believe Batman needs a Robin, he even shared a concept fight sequence on YouTube to prove that he's the man for the role. According to the video description, the Tim Drake concept fight was choreographed and shot in three and a half hours. The fight choreography could be better, but it certainly isn't awful. More importantly, Ryan Potter most definitely has the persona to become the Boy Wonder.

We have been introduced to the brooding loner that is the Dark Knight for a while now, and while the grim storytelling has become somewhat of a signature for the current DCEU, it might not be a bad idea to switch things up a little post-Suicide Squad. Let us know what you think – should Robin deserve a role in the upcoming Batman solo movie?
