Seven Knights - Time Wanderer is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Netmarble, this is the studio's first console game. It’s based on Seven Knights Mobile, one of the company’s most popular RPGs.
The console version of Seven Knights offers a real-time and turn-based RPG that is visually stunning. It also comes with all-new control and battle systems along with game content that has been optimized for consoles. Compared to the mobile version, Seven Knights - Time Wanderer is a single-player RPG that is based on a limited story. Here, players get the chance to collect new characters as they move forward in the game.
Time Wanderer itself is going to focus on Vanessa, a member of the Seven Knights. She is part of the well-known Windringer family. While exploring her house, young Vanessa, along with her friends, manages to open a sealed door, one that she was long forbidden to open and enter. As she enters the room beyond the door, a mysterious magic tool located in the middle of the room suddenly emits a bright light which envelops Vanessa and makes her disappear, much to the surprise of her friends.
In Time Wanderer, Vanessa brings her ultimate magical equipment, which is a sentient hourglass known as Sandy. Players get to follow Vanessa as she tries to make her way home safely.
In addition to releasing the game, Netmarble also launched the game’s official website which offers detailed information on the history of Seven Knights, some key features of the console version, and the detailed listing of key characters. There’s also a new trailer along with some in-game screenshots. Everyone can also enjoy the webtoon which tells the story of Vanessa. Seven Knights – Time Wanderer, as mentioned, is based on Seven Knights Mobile. The original Seven Knights game was released back in March 2014 and is available in more than 150 countries around the world. The game is available on both the iOS App Store and Google Play and has reached 60 million cumulative downloads.
Seven Knights – Time Wanderer is going to be released worldwide as a digital-only game through the Nintendo eShop.
