Discord is a popular platform designed for gamers to interact with each other. The updates and availability of the platform make it really fun to use. Many gamers use it to interact or find other communities to make new friends.

Screen sharing is an important part of the platform. Discord's version takes fewer resources compared to other streaming applications. But the streaming is only limited to the players in the channel. It still is a pretty good feature to showcase some nice clips you’ve collected.

Today, Discord is receiving an important update for mobile devices. These devices can now stream games. It might be a bit complicated for streaming as the entire screen would be shared while streaming. But you could turn on ‘do not disturb mode’ on your mobile device to keep the stream from showing any personal information.

The mobile screen sharing feature will only work in groups, DMs, and voice channels. It also seems that the mobile version of screen sharing won’t take many resources. The developers optimized it for smooth gameplay and low latency. Discord has set a limit for up to 50 concurrent viewers per user, which is actually plenty for normal users. Though it might be a bit difficult for big-time streamers to use the platform. The update will be neat for players who want to stream smaller games like Among Us.

So, what do you think about Discord’s new mobile screen sharing feature? Do you think it’s going to be a game-changer for the platform? Personally, I think it’s a great addition because more people are using the platform due to COVID-19. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
