It’s time for some run and gun this week in Red Dead Online. The Hardcore version of Head for the Hills is giving out twice the usual XP. This Showdown Mode has two teams of players taking turns in making a dash to the safe house.
The catch is that runners won’t have any consumables, which can help them bring back any lost health. To make everything fair, opponents won’t be able to use Ability Cards. That means those after the runners need to rely on their strength and aim.
Bonuses
For the past weeks, bonuses have been given to different Specialist Roles. Last week, for example, it was all about hunting and crafting. Before that, it was all about moonshiners and naturalists.
This time around it’s all about Traders. Traders who log in to the game anytime this week get a Reward good for 25 free Trader Goods. Meanwhile, all Trader Sell Missions are handing out an extra 50% RDO$ bonus. That’s not all as those who manage to finish two Sell Missions within the week get an Offer for 40% off an Established or Distinguished Trader Role Item of their choice.
For those who want to try out the role, this is also a good week to start. The Butcher’s Table is being offered at five Gold Bars off. Besides, the cost to move Camp has been waived.
