For those who want to try out Red Dead Online, now would be a good time to do that. Starting today and until February 15, the standalone version of Red Dead Online is being offered for $4.99.

Red Dead Online was released as a standalone game back in December. That meant players no longer need to buy Red Dead Redemption 2 to play RDO. The standalone version also gives players access to future content updates. Read more about that here.

The discounted price isn’t the only good thing. Those who play the game from December 1 to February 15 get to receive a special bonus. This is available to those who own the standalone version or have a full copy of Red Dead Redemption 2. The special bundle gifts players the following:

  • Reward for a free Horse under Rank 40.
  • Reward for a free Stable Slot.
  • Reward for 5,000 Club XP.
  • Rewards for 2 free Ability Cards.
  • High-velocity Ammo for all gun types.
  • Reward for a free Coat.
  • Reward for a free Hat Rank 15 and under.
  • Reward for a free Shirt Rank 15 and under.
  • Reward for a free Fast Travel Voucher.
  • Horse Reviver.
  • Assortment of select Tonics and other consumables.

Not enough for you? Don’t worry since there’s more. Players from December 1 and February 15 get some special discounts that include:

  • 50% off any Weapon.
  • 40% off any Non-Role Pamphlet from the Fence.
  • 30% off anything from Wilderness Outfitters.

Take note that all gifts will arrive within 72 hours of playing the game. Players can claim Offers and Rewards either through the in-game Benefits menu or over at the Offers and Rewards section of Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalog. Any additional items are accessible through the player’s Camp's Lockbox or at any Post Office in the game.

Red Dead Online was initially the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2 before it was launched as a standalone version. The game is presented using first-person and third-person perspectives with players being able to roam and interact in an open world.

The game is available at Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store. The game can also be downloaded through the Rockstar Games Launcher.
