The Six Invitational 2021 Europe Finals between BDS and G2 have concluded. The matches were played in a best of five series. The EU rivalry between BDS and G2 was the most epic conclusion we could have asked for in the finals.

The first map of the series was Theme Park. The first round was a quick rush from G2 as they dived into the Drug site window and tried to make a play. The rush attempt worked out because BDS had no information on site, but it could have gone either way. The second round was also played in the Drug site, but this time, BDS opted to use info operators like Valkyrie. G2 wasted too much time on droning and clearing the map that got the round down to the final 20 seconds for them to execute. BDS held their angles and won the round with ease due to the lack of time from G2. The first half went in favor of BDS with a 4-2 scoreline, which is pretty decent.

G2 was able to take BDS into overtime that was super fun to watch. On Round 13, G2 brought Ying to rush into the site and make a play, however, BDS's Loïc "BriD" Chongthep and Bryan "Elemzje" Tebessi stopped G2 by getting a double and triple kill, respectively. The kill-feed was super confusing as both players were playing Smoke and Mute, which have the same shotgun. The final round was played on the Drug site with G2 defending this time. BDS countered them really well and got it down to a 1v3 situation. G2's Jake "Virtue" Grannan got stuck off-site in that situation and had almost no options in the final seconds. Yet he was able to kill the planter just before it went down by shooting their toes. Virtue’s amazing play shocked everyone including casters, and it was the play of the day.

The second map was Oregon. BDS bounced back stronger even though they lost the previous match on Theme Park. BDS won the second map because G2 played aggressively and tried to catch them off-guard. Everyone in BDS played amazingly in terms of frags and coordination, leading them to victory over Oregon with a 7-4 scoreline.
