After nearly a week of online competition, the results for the quarter-finals of Elite Hubs Rainbow Six Siege are out. The tournament has a prize pool of $1,300, which is very high for the South Asian competitive scene. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the matches will be held online instead of the more traditional LAN environment. The prize pool of the tournaments will be split and awarded to the top two finalists.

The ongoing Elite Hubs tournament is a single-elimination based competition, where every team only gets one chance to reach a higher seed. The losers will be knocked out of the tournament without going into the lower brackets, which make it super tense between all teams. Elite Hubs is also hosting a giveaway on their streams for random Corsair goodies. You can watch the live streams on the Elite Hubs Facebook page.

This tournament is currently being dominated by three teams: Deimos Force, Level Zero Esports, and Vector Sports, with astounding round differences such as 7-0, 7-1, and 7-3 respectively. It will be very interesting to see these titans clashing against each other in the finals.

The match between Vector sports and Team MercenarieZ was very well fought, but Vector Sports won it with DefinitelyaNoob carrying the team with 16 frags in game one and 11 frags in game two. It was both a really fun and sad match to watch as D0C7ER from Team MercenarieZ had 20 frags, but still managed to lose the game.

One of the most disappointing matches to watch was Level Zero Esports vs Union Gaming. The most dominating champions of the South Asian region were knocked out early. It was really sad to see Union Gaming losing their gunfights against their opponents. Watching them lose against teams who are under them was a massive surprise to most viewers. Some speculations say that they are saving their strategies for the Rainbow 6 APAC League: South Asia Nationals Qualifier #1, which will start on June 20.

So, what are your thoughts on the South Asian Elite Hubs tournament for Rainbow Six Siege? Are you enjoying all the amazing matches that teams put on this tournament? Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
