It's Hallooooweeen! PUBG

PUBG Mobile officially released the full version of its 0.15.0 patch, which adds the Halloween Mode to Survive Till Dawn. The update also adds new features as well as new firearms and vehicles. This update is free and available on Google Play and the iOS App Store.

Earlier this year, PUBG Mobile partnered with Resident Evil 2 to give players the chance to experience the classic battleground, but with an undead theme. This was also the start of the Survive Till Dawn mode. Beginning with the 0.15.0 update, players can now get into the "Halloweeks" spirit. Survive Till Dawn has modified background objects and the monsters have been "Halloweenized."

In addition, there is now a hostile human faction hiding abandoned factories and strongholds. Defeating this faction lets players earn better rewards. Killing zombies still grants rewards as well, and this time rewards include a special bio-warfare equipment that is effective against both zombies and other players.

New features added to the game with the 0.15.0 content update include:

  • BRDM-2 Amphibious Armored Vehicle
    • Players can now travel on both land and sea and feel safe as it also reduces damage taken.
  • Ledge Grab
    • The ledge grab feature lets players climb and clamber buildings in order to reach places that were previously inaccessible places.
    • This allows for new kinds of combat.
  • Desert Eagle
    • With 62 damage per bullet, the Desert Eagle is a pistol that deals the highest damage.
    • Be more efficient with the Red Dot, Holo Sight, Laser Sight and magazine attachments.
  • Fuel Drums
    • It is now possible to explode vehicle gasoline containers found around the maps by shooting several bullets at them.
  • Graffiti
    • Make a mark with up to four types of graffiti.
  • Firearm Improvements and balances
    • The M16A4, Vector, UMP45 and MK47 Mutant have all been adjusted along with new attachments, ammo types and carrying capacities.

Later in the month, PUBG Mobile will release the new Payload Mode. This mode offers a new gameplay experience and comes with features never seen before in a classic mobile tactical tournament which includes:

  • Helicopters
    • For the first time ever players can now take to the skies to seek and destroy enemies.
  • Super Weapon Crate
    • Spawns regularly and activates after three minutes.
    • The crate contains air drop weapons, level 3 armor, and Payload Mode weapons, among many others.
  • Teammate Recall
    • When a teammate falls, collect their identification cards and then bring it to the nearest Communication Tower for a quick revive.
  • New Payload Weapons
    • The explosive RPG-7, M3E1-A, M79 Grenade Launcher and M134 minigun are now available.
  • Air Strike Beacon
    • Players can call in air strikes to targeted areas around the map.
  • Vehicle Repair Packs
    • Packs can be unlocked to fix damaged vehicles and tires.
