A recently released poster of "Pokémon Horizons" in Japan from "Pokémon's" official anime account revealed a new character in the show that has the community buzzing with theories about a potential new Pokémon debut.
The latest post confirmed "Pokémon Horizons" has its next major arc, entitled "Wonder Voyage," alongside the poster release. Ditto, the star of the latest "Pokopia" game, appears to be at the center of it all, hinting that this new arc will tie into the storylines similar to "Pokémon Go," "Pokémon Sleep," and "Pokémon Unite."
Content creators and leakers have zoned in on a new character, particularly the one behind Ditto in the poster. Speculations claim that the girl is connected to a new Generation X Pokémon, which would first debut in the anime.
According to ComicBook Gaming, this would not be the first time the anime has introduced a new Pokémon before its game. Ho-Oh, the Rainbow Pokémon and Legendary bird, previously appeared in the first episode of a Pokémon anime but was not made available in the games until "Pokémon Gold and Silver" debuted.
Is a New Eeveelution Finally Coming to Gen 10 Game?
The mystery character has sent the Pokémon community straight to one particular theory: a new Eeveelution. Several fans are now saying that a Flying-type Eeveelution is coming in this Gen 10 game.

A Flying Eeveelution has been one of the most popular fan theories in the community, with many fans and sources believing that this will be added to the game soon. The Fairy-type Sylveon was the latest Eeveelution that was introduced by the franchise, debuting way back in 2013 with "Pokémon X and Y."
Fans have pointed out that the new character's hair looks similar in shape to Eevee's ears, and one of the new game titles features "Winds" in its name, leading fans to make this Flying-type connection.
As of writing, there are only three new Gen 10 Pokémon confirmed by The Pokémon Company and Game Freak, with the starter trio of Browt, Gecqua, and Pombon.
