Pokémon GO: Here’s What's Happening this March

In Pokémon GO, a new month means a bunch of new events to enjoy. This time around, it’s the start of a new season. In Season of Alola, trainers can expect to see Pokémon originally found in the Alola region.

Here are some of the activities:

    • Tapu Koko
  • March 15 to March 22
    • Therian Forme Tornadus
  • March 22 to April 5

• Mega Raids
  • March 1 to March 15
    • Mega Venusaur
  • March 15 to March 22
    • Mega Lopunny
  • March 22 to April 5
    • Mega Charizard Y
• Raid Hours
  • Every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., local time.
  • Featured Pokémon are:
    • March 2: Tapu Koko
    • March 9: Tapu Koko
    • March 16: Therian Forme Tornadus
    • March 23: TBA
    • March 30: TBA

Community Day

So when is Community Day this month? It's on March 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., local time. The event is set to feature Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew. Trainers can also look forward to exclusive attacks which include:

• Sandslash
  • Evolve Sandshrew during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Sandslash that knows the Charged Attack Night Slash.
  • Night Slash
    • Trainer Battles: 50 power
    • Gyms and raids: 50 power
• Alolan Sandslash
  • Evolve Alolan Sandshrew during the event or up to two hours afterward to get an Alolan Sandslash that knows the Fast Attack Shadow Claw.
  • Shadow Claw
    • Trainer Battles: 6 power
    • Gyms and raids: 9 power

• Event Bonuses
  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
  • Incense activated during the event lasts for three hours.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event last for three hours.
  • Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
