A new month starts on Monday and that means a whole new set of activities arriving in Pokémon GO. What makes the date extra special is because of the new season. Today, we take a look at what March has to offer.

Let’s start with the Research Breakthrough encounter for the month. It starts March 1 and ends April 1. During this event, Trainers get to encounter Gible.

  • April 2021: Shadow Zapdos
  • May 2021: Shadow Moltres

This month’s Community Day starts a bit early, which is on March 6. Features for this event are:

  • Evolve Fletchinder (the evolved form of Fletchling) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Talonflame that knows Incinerate.
  • Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise.
