Overkill Software, the developer of Payday 2, released a new DLC yesterday along with a free update that brought some balancing changes to the game. However, it seems like that update also broke a couple of things. Today, the developer released a small patch (3.7MB) that addresses those issues. Keep in mind that no new content is added.

The patch fixed the issue where the game will load in English even if the selected option is Korean. Some graphical issues that were happening to the new gloves are addressed, but one crash issue is still being looked into. You can check out the patch notes below.

Update 204.1 Changelog

  • Fixed an issue where selecting Korean as the game language would still load the game in English.
  • Fixed an issue where Old Hoxton was not available as an AI on any heist released after Border Crossing.
  • Fixed a graphical issue with the outline on the new gloves.
  • Fixed a crash when turning off roman numerals for infamy cards while at infamy rank zero.
  • Adjusted ammo pickup values for VR players to be the same as for non-VR players for Pistols, DMRs and Assault Rifles.
