Overwatch Reaper
Overwatch Reaper Wallur

Depending on whether you are someone who mains Reaper or dispises him, the recent Overwatch update that nerfs his health recovering ability may disappoint or make you happy. Reaper is capable of recovering health equal to 40% of the damage he deals to his opponents, which makes him extremely hard to kill and, in some situations, it can feel impossible to bring him down. Fortunately, the latest update on the Overwatch Public Test Realm indicates that the developers are making Reaper easier to deal with.

Post update, Reaper's health regeneration perk will be dropped to 30% of the damage dealt, which might make the fights winnable against him. The patch notes also mention several other interesting changes for Hanzo, Orisa, McCree, Sigma, and Baptiste. Hanzo's Storm Arrow damage has been reduced and Orisa has also received quite a bit of nerfs.

On the other hand, McCree mains can rejoice as his health has slightly increased and Deadeye will not be locking aim anymore, but the primary fire will have now have a quicker recovery time. The range on Sigma's Hypersphere has also been reduced and Baptiste's healing will also be less effective going forward. You can find all the upcoming Hero changes below:

  • General - Base health increased from 200 to 250
