If you've always wondered what Outriders was all about, now's the chance. The game is available to play for free on Steam from June 20 to June 23.
Players on Steam can experience the full original game with no restrictions during this period, including cross-play with other platforms. In addition, any progress during the Free Play Days will be waiting for them when they buy the game on the same platform. Meanwhile, those who were able to play the demo previously could continue their progress from where they left off.
In the game, humanity has slowly bled out on the planet of Enoch. Players take on the role of the last of the Outriders, which are somehow Altered by the terrifying Anomaly and infused with incredible powers.
Upcoming Update
A new update dubbed "Worldslayer" is set to be released on June 30. Digital pre-orders are now open and those who get the upgrade through pre-order can access the new content early starting June 28.

- Humanity’s hope for survival rests on the journey deep into the cradle of Enoch’s civilization.
- Dynamic 1-3 Player Co-Op
- Players can continue to play solo or join up to 2 friends in drop-in drop-out co-op as they take on the horrors of a hyper-evolving planet in an apocalypse.
- 4 Unique Classes
- Continue with the existing classes or create and customize new Outriders.
- Players can choose from 4 unique powerful classes each with its own deadly array of brutal abilities with Skill Trees and Pax Trees to further define their personal playstyle.
- Guns and Gear
- Customize and upgrade Outriders with the new and powerful Apocalypse items and mods.
- Apocalypse items have an additional 3rd mod slot to customize loadout to match the player's playstyle.
- There is a full and entirely free Transmog system across all items.
- Power
- Adapt abilities and skills in addition to the vast Class Skill Trees with new Pax Trees for hybrid branch boosts.
- Face off against all Apocalypse Tiers with that increased power and boost your Ascension Points of Brutality, Endurance, Prowess, and Anomaly.
- Endgame
- Players can earn incredible loot as they face new horrors in the vast endgame experience in the ancient city of Tarya Gratar.
- Boost In
- Further develop an existing character or use the new boost to roll a geared-up level 30 Outrider.
