In One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, players can make their own custom-made avatar and experience their personal legend. Similar to the original One Punch Man series, players need to work their way up the ranks of the Hero Association by training and completing different missions. While it has similar gameplay with other fighting games, one difference is that when fighting enemies, there are random events that crop up to spice up the battle. These include, among others, interference from supervillains or even asteroid crashes.

In the game, players form a team composed of their favorite heroes and villains from the series. One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
