One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is coming to the Americas for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The action-fighting game is the first console game based on the very popular Shonen Jump series, One-Punch Man.

The game features 3v3 battles, where players can form powerful teams using their favorite characters as they fight in a universe where powerful villains attack on a regular basis. Players can choose to take on the role of the salaryman-turned-hero, Saitama, who can obliterate the strongest foes with a single punch. Players can also play other fan-favorite characters such as Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Mumen Rider, and Speed-o’-Sound Sonic.

Below is a brief preview on the characters of One-Punch Man:

  • Saitama is the main protagonist of One-Punch Man and, as of now, is potentially the most powerful being to exist in the series. Saitama faces a self-imposed existential crisis, as he is now too powerful to gain any thrill from battle.
  • Genos is the deuteragonist of One-Punch Man. He is a 19-year-old cyborg and the disciple of Saitama. He is always aiming to become more powerful and fights for justice. Under the Hero Association, he is given the name Demon Cyborg and is currently S-Class Rank 14.
  • Fubuki, also known by her hero alias Blizzard of Hell (Hellish Blizzard), is an esper, the younger sister of Tatsumaki and the leader of the B-Class hero group, the Blizzard Group. She and her sister are known as the Psychic Sisters.
  • Mumen Rider is the C-Class Rank 1 professional hero from Z-City. Mumen Rider possesses Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Endurance, Enhanced Durability, and Pain Supression. He is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant and is best known for his fighting style dubbed “Justice Crash.”
  • Speed-o'-Sound Sonic is a recurring villain and occasional anti-hero in the series, who first appeared as a bodyguard hired by Zeniru. He is also a former member of the 44th Graduation Class of the Ninja Village nicknamed "The End". Sonic is one of the few people who is aware of Saitama's true strength and is now a self-declared eternal rival of Saitama.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. Associate Brand Manager Abelina Villegas commented, “One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is the perfect game for One Punch Man fans and those who are ready to jump into the One-Punch universe. Players can really immerse themselves in the One-Punch Man world and form their own teams, develop their skills and fight to see who is the strongest of them all!”

So, can you take down your foes with a single punch?
