Looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild just could not get a break. It has already been plagued with glitches and they do not seem to stop. Now, a newly found glitch is wreaking havoc in the game and almost everyone wants to get a piece of the pie.

The said glitch is reportedly making Link invincible and giving him infinite stamina. As with many glitches in the game, the newfound one appears a bit complicated to activate.

Luckily, the discoverers of the glitch, two players who go by the names “Simaubaka” and “LegendofLinkk,” were able to lay out the steps needed to activate the said glitch. After a handful of prerequisites are met, the groundwork for the glitch is ready. The rest would just be manipulating the inventory and saving file slots. As mentioned, it is a complex process, but it eventually ends with Link jumping into a body of water with the stamina bar depleted. But as soon as he jumps out, the stamina bar will never go empty again. This is why the glitch is coined the Aqua Reverse Memory Storage (in short, ARMS).

When you activate the ARMS glitch, the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild opens and allows Link to scale any mountain and glide to any point within range without losing even a single drop of stamina.

On top of giving Link infinite stamina, the glitch also offers other advantages. For starters, it is capable of disabling a number of events around the map from getting triggered, say, a cutscene perhaps. What is more, it gives players the ability to explore the Lost Woods at a very convenient pace. That is because they no longer have to worry about where to start in case they take a wrong turn.

There is a downside to the immortality the glitch provides though. Well, as it turns out, the glitch can softlock The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This means that while the game can remain playable, progression beyond the current state of the game is not going to happen. You just have to look after softlock triggers, with some including talking to NPCs and even opening any of the game's treasure chests. You need to be careful with switching items, as well as pausing and unpausing the game – doing any of these can softlock the game. As long as you thread carefully and avoid those triggers, you should be able to roam freely and kill anything with ease.
